Christmas Eve Barbecue Party - 24th December 2011
We have hosted a Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Party each year since we opened in 2002, building on previous experience each time to offer an evening that we think most should enjoy. We always aim to make it a proper party, as opposed to just another dull hotel gala dinner. Our staff certainly enjoy these occasions (sometimes a little too much!), and add to the party atmosphere. Christmas Eve Line-up
3.00pm Chiang Dao Nest Minifest opens (a few stalls offering games inspired by Thai Temple Fairs)
- Balloon Darts (throw darts to burst balloons, simple! Prize every time!)
- Floating Eggs Tombola (fish a plastic egg from a small pool. Prize guaranteed including free Voucher Thai Massage for 2 person at Chiang Dao Nest, 5 prizes of 50% off Voucher for cocktails at the bar, Sangsom, T-shirts, Chocolates, Red Wine, Toiletries gift basket from the Nest, and more)
- Drink Hoopla - Throw the rings to get drinks - bottles of Wine, Beers, Sangsom, Juice, Water, etc.
3.00pm - 6.30pm Eclectic Christmas music selection.
4.00pm - 6.00pm Happy Hours - 20% off all alcoholic drinks ordered between 4.00pm and 6.00pm!
5.00pm - Snack table opens - snacks, crisps / chips, sweets / candies, lollipops etc
6.30pm - BBQ Opens (please see below for details of our Big Christmas Eve Barbecue Offering)
6.30pm - Live Entertainment starts (not necessarily in this order.) …

- Klong sabad chai “ The Victory Drum”

- “Kai Lai dance “ The dance mimics the beautiful animals in the Himapana holy forest in Buddhist Folk tales
